hi guys as you all know i am the proud owner of a 3month and 11day old burmese python :-) his name is stitch and i will get pics asap lol

the thing is i am currently househunting and im looking for a house that has an attic coversion so that i can dedicate a room to my snakes...ive found a house and its perfict! all heating and lighting in attic and pleanty of room, all flooring done everything. theres a recess type thig also and its from the chimney brest to the other wall about 15ft long and about 5/6ft wide i could build the enclosure as tall as the room so thats not a prob but is that big enough for a fully grown burm

would apreciate the help you guys have never steared me wrong ever so thanx

I am pretty sure that is enough space, the minimum size for a burm enclosure is 8'x2' feet. I recomend something a bit wider, my burm enclosure is 8'x4' and 2' tall, from the ground up it is close to 6'. You do not need a tall cage for these snakes because the don t usually climb. Here is a pic of the enclosure I built, good luck with your project!

well for these snakes it is not nessesary to provide a tree branch for them to climb and for an adult burm that is 150 pounds you would have to make sure the branch was really sturdy. To my mind it is not worth installing one cause if it breaks your snake could get injured.

As he will get bigger he will not climb as much as he does now. That sound perfect for an enclosure good luck with stitch Burms are a awesome snake to have. If you dont mind the size they can reach.
