Perhaps an odd question, but what is the proper mouth/throat colouration for a V.exanthematicus?

Cheers,

Which one? I have seen ones that have a very white/grey throat and others that have a pinkish throat. Could the pinkness be a sign of infection?

Cheers,
Dave

if you're refering to inside of the mouth, it should have a bit of a pinkish hue, and somewhat whitish. It ranges i believe. If it was an infection you would notice it quite fast, it would be more reddish than pink. got a picture?

No picture, but that sounds good. There is no sign of inflamation and the pinkness seems to be evenly distributed with no real redness anywhere. Probably just the natural base colour.

Dave
