XxRachxX: Thanksgiving is a time to get together with your family and celebrate all that you're thankful for in your life. Thanksgiving is based on the history between the pilgrims and American Indians....I can't quite remember the whole story, but, it has a happy ending with the pilgrims and natives sitting down for a large turkey dinner together. But, in my case, it's just an excuse to stuff ourselves and get blind stinking drunk...because Christmas, New Years, and Boxing Day is just not enough! *LMAO*
Happy Thanksgiving! All that weight that I lost this year is going straight to hell from here on out. *LOL* Hope you all enjoy your day and meals, and enjoy your turkey sandwhiches over the next few days. :D

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving :D
RedDragon, actually, you are referring to American Thanksgiving. The story of the Pilgrims' settlement of the New World is an American Tradition. Canadian Thanksgiving is a holiday to celebrate a good harvest. It is in October in Canada because we harvest earlier in Canada than they do in the States. Americans are also celebrating the harvest, but the Pilgrim/New World thing is solely theirs.
