I'm making a cage for my Blood Python and I'm curious if there are any plants I could put inside that are easy to maintain and won't take over the enclosure.

real plants won't thrive. I'd go for plastic. They look pretty nice and are easier to clean and disinfect than silk plants. I have plastic plants in all my display cages!

I have silk plants in my gecko's display cage, and she doesn't seem to care that they're fake. You have the benifit of not worrying about the plants taking over the enclosure and keeping them alive if you use fake ones. :)
