View Full Version : AWESOME mistake on my license!
My birthdate is 10/03/86 but on my license it says that it is 10/03/85 that means they say I'm 18 right now even though I'm only 17. Bad ***.

Well I think your popularity just skyrocketted! Being able to buy the good stuff a year before your buddies.
Exactly Daver... now if only I smoked, then it would be really useful.

Somehow I doubt they would believe a 17 year old would over look that mistake. :p
But strictly speaking I don't think I'm doing anything illegal. Besides, how am I gonna get caught? I mean I'm not gonna go adopting a kid or anything (though you probably have to be older than 18... I'm just saying I'm not gonna be doing anything big). I'm only going to take advantage of the no curfew issue and driving out of state.... and some other stuff that I won't mention on a family website. JK

LOL to be truth full and I hate to burst you bubble but not reporting such a mistake is actualy a federal offence basicly what you have in your hands is a legit fake ID and cold cause some serious problems with you and the buy that isued that card. Lets say you do get caught as wildly imposible that can be if you just stick to the under age porn and curfew this could be poushed all the way to the point that you bribed the DMV person and think of it this way holloween is just around the corner if you get pumpikin smashing you are no longer charged as a minor and belive me that is not the time to tell the cops that they mesed up you ID LOL if you get my drift.
moral of this story is stay as young as humanly posible, cause as much troubles as you want, knock out the high school bully cause next year that is all stuff that will fallow you for the rest of your life.
I was there man when I was 17 I would give my left nut to have a fake ID to be 20 now I am 20 and I would give my right nut to BE 17 again. Enjoy it while it lasts cause a beer just dont tast the same when you are legale...LOL

very true...i'm 23 and now. when i turned 21 the novelty wore off. or maybe i just *gasp* matured.
Even though it was made by the governemtn agencies... and its as real as it can be... boidem will still checkk up on da date and see that it differs, and thats when you're screwed. I've seen fake ID's that literally look real, you cant tell the difference between and real and a fake in some cases... BUT if they catch you with that thing man... like, sometimes, if you drive, boidem will pull you over just to see whos drivin'... you kids in cars are good targets ( I'm usin' this as an example by the way )... My boy drives a Lex'... hes Tamil, and when police see him drivin' it, they ALWAYS run plate check and on some occasions, pull him over 'cause hes a kid... sorry to saay dude, but we get targeted easily :( Is that you're only ID that shows your age? 'Cause if it is, I'd get it replaced... 'cause one day or another, it'll catch up to you...
YOu're other option, is get a fake done with you're real age!

dude, that's awesome!!
Dozer - Yeah it's the only id with my age... and I definitely do plan on getting it replaced... just not right away. I'm thinking when I actually turn 18.
Also, they can look it up all they want because I'm pretty sure they made the screw up when they put it in my "file" - not when they just printed my license. I think this becasue it was also wrong on my permit.

When he's showing his license to someone, I highly doubt they're going to question 1 year difference... It IS a real ID, just with a mistake on it, but anyone who looks at it & doesn't know him wouldn't know otherwise... I really don't think anyone's going to care that much to look into it :/

You dont get it it is a federal offence it is fraude why take such a huge risk if he gets caught there is his Birth certificat that will be against him that has his parents signature on it his hole medical archive that is acsesible by the gouverment we are not talking small time cops here it is federal you are talking jail time lost of what ever license you may hae why risk it. it is just plain stupide and all of you that are encouraging him to keep it and think it is cool you just as stupid.
that is like congratulating some one fro smugaling in some baby indian pythons it is just wrong and if you don't see it well I feal sorry for you.
How is it at all comparable to smuggling in baby indian pythons? I'm not harming ANYONE, I'm not even effecting ANYONE or ANYTHING. I'd say 90% of the reason I'm keeping it is just because it's a good story and it's cool to show people. Now, I doubt that if I get "caught" with it, that I'm going to be considered a "fraud". I'm not the one doing anything. And I can promise you that if I do get caught with it, I will not be doing any jailtime, that's ridiculous. And if I had to guess I'd say you're pulling that out of your...."hat".

No I am talking from experiance I lost my best friend to this kind of $#!T do what you want man I dont give 2 $#!TS it is your life I am just telling you the facts not knowing about it and just living your life is one thing but to notice it and not do any thng about it now that is a crime.
ignorance of the law is one thing BUT ignoring the law is a hole new ball game. My friend is still seriving his last 6 monts of a 2 year sentence when he gets out he has somthing like 500 hours of comunaty service. have fun man but when all #3!! breaks loose dont say you were not told.
I gotta believe that our situations are at least a little different. I mean something like this I would think would get your license taken away... or a fine or something like that. What about the fact that I am actually a minor? You think they would actually put a minor in jail for something like this?

it is called juvanile detention facilatys take all the chances you want but I have seen ppl do 6 monts to a years for less alot less
And I've seen my girlfriend's brother do just about as much as you can reasonabley expect a juvenile to do and I can tell you that he hasn't spent more than a full week in a detention facility. He's stolen, done drugs (many different kinds - and got caught with them), threatened cops and more. So I doubt they'd put up much of a fuss if I just fail to fix a problem that they was THEIR fault.
its simple. go back and say you lost it. when they issuse you a new one, say "oh, theres a mistake" they will correct it, and now you have both.
oh wait... only problem is that if they look up my real age then I'm ****ed because I was just caught with a fake id.
