Rainbow boa questions

[McPatch]

A student in my class is doing a report on rainbow boas and has the following questions.If you could help that would be great.

How long are they pregnant for?
How many young do they have?

Any other things you may like to give as in fo would be great.

I didn't want to give him the answers stright out .Want him to look for it on the web or in books.Told him to post this here

1) They aren't pregnant, they are gravid. Pregnancy implies a placenta, and they don't have one. They are basically in clear eggs within the female's oviduct and "hatch" when they are "born".

They are gravid for about 4-5 months

2) 0-30+
