I'm planning on making a 4x2x2(lxwxh) enclosure and the home depot in my city only carrys black melimine(i want to make it black) from 12'x1', 12'x18"...
so i'd have to buy the 12'x1'. Would i have to glue it together to make it 2 feet high and 2 feet wide? How would u guys do it?

i think its the only way for me to have it.
i can't buy 4x8 since they dont have it in black... and i WANT it in black.
an example would be... the top of the enclosure would need to be 4feet long and 2 feet wide... so i would have to get 2 pieces of wood of 4feet and 1feet. But im not sure glue will hold... unless its super glue
forgot to say once i glue it, i can screw it...
i would not do it. If the cut is off they won't butt up perfectly and not only will it be a weak joint but it will look ugly.....I'm saying this cause I've tried it....and it doesn't work well. I know that home depot, building box and Canadian Tire carries 4'x8' sheets. Some places will even make special orders if they don't have that size in stock. I think you'll save some money buying a large sheet than a bunch of smaller ones too!;)
if one supplier dosn't have what you want find one that does.
