probably a sand boa. They stay pretty small, but i know they arnt the smallest

The West Indies is home to the world's smallest snake, the Lesser Antillean Threadsnake, which could slither through a pencil if the lead were removed.

My adult Red-bellied, nine inches, unknown sex, wild caught. Saw it sunning itself on a deck, at first i thought it was a worm then it started to move, I was shocked. Eats red wigglers. Name is The Worm...
Edit: This is the smallest I've seen personally. Why is this thread in python forums? :o

I've caught a couple of sharp-tailed snakes and they were pretty tiny, around 5-6 inches. Also thought it was a worm til it stuck out its tongue.

Smallest Python is the Anthill of Austrailia, if thats not the answer you are looking for this is the wrong forum. Mark I.

The Brahminy Blind Snake (Ramphotyphlops bramina) at only 4 to 7 inches (10 to 18 centimeters) long as an adult. It was introduced to Florida from Asia. It is known to be A-sexual meaning it does not need a mate to reproduce. It is blind and its front end looks just like its back end, and it lives mostly underground and eats termites and ant larvae.
