how often do they shed? my guy hasnt yet :S but he hasnt been eating much of his fruit, he eats the live stuff fine..i think will go get some baby food to try and hopefully soon get some CGD

He may have already shed, but you didnt notice because he ate his shed skin after. A sign of that they are about to shed is that they have difficulty in climbing the glass of the enclosure, they try to hold on but they slide down slowly. Its quite funny actually lol.
