Hi!

I just took this pic of my male blizzard called Orion :). He was checkin out his "territory" after I clean his tank. You can see how blizzards (as adults) are not pure white and do have yellow. He is about 1 year and 2 months old (approx.).

Enjoy! :D

exotic_66: I got him last december for $150

Clownfishie: Lol he is handsome but I don't think he has the touch with my ladies! :P When I put him in my exo-terra plastic terrarium and bring him close to my females they get high n their legs and start moving their tales in the air. Whats that all about??

reptilesalonica: It looked more like they were trying to scare him off by making themselves bigger! :P

LOL... well, maybe he's not Cassanova then ;) But give him a shot... what you've described is often part of mating behaviour, although I generally notice the tail rattling more in the male than the females...

Nice looking guy. Seems some of the Blizzards are really robust animals compared to some. Nice looking!

Clownfishie: The females weren't doing a tail rattling (i've seen my male do this once). Their tales were much higher in the air, like i've said before, it looked like they wanted to look bigger (cause my male is a big piece of leo :P).

Do you have some advice on how I can introduce the three in the same tank? Out of the three there is only one that will let me handle her :-/.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments :D:D!!

Tale rattling in Leos is only a mating behaviour. I know it because i breed leos. In other words, i have seen it with my own eyes :)

tail rattling is also a 'hunting' behavior and a means to find out if another leo is male (one male will rattle its tail and if the other one is male it will rattle back and bam or so i heard.. never kept 2 males together)
