I just glanced at my albino leo's belly and saw a blue dot on it, and I thought I read somewhere that that was a sign of crypto. She has a nice plump tail, so I not sure if she is sick.

Sometimes when you look at their belly and see dark spots, what you are looking at is poo : )
I wouldnt worry about crypto unless your leo has no appetite and starts losing weight like crazy.
Usually the dark spot caused by crypto comes after they havent ate for a while and are near death.
How long have you had your albino?
I just got a baby albino, 6 weeks I think. I can see dark stuff on her side and her belly. She is really tiny. I've had her about a week. I was actually worried too because she didn't eat for a few days, but last night she ate about 6 items of food. What do you think? Do I have anything to be worried about? I thought that it was just easy to see her organs, being an albino and sooo tiny. I can also see some of the veins in her legs. Any suggestions?

What you could be seeing is her internal organs. it's more likely in a healty leo.
If the albino is very skinny and not eating and basicly withering away is when it is a cause for alarm. That's when you start to see the black belly. The testing in leos for crypto is kinda hard and not very percise unless a necropsy is done. If a necropsy isn't preformed then you will have to get a fecal done and those aren't always accurate. If it's positive it's positive, now if it's negative then it could still turn up to be positive. Confusing i know, but that's how it was explained to me by my vet.
If you have any other questions on crypto i will be glad to try and help.

Thanx for the quick reply, I think that she is healthy but I always worry a little about my babies. I always worry when they are new. She has started to eat well, I think that she was just getting used to the move! Thanx again!
a blue dot doesnt really sound like crypto.. is your gecko having diarrhea?
No her poops are firm, she does seem to have some trouble hunting though. When she eats, I have fed her by hand. I hold the crix/mealies, in front of her and she will take them after awhile. She seems interested in the moving prey but doesn't seem quick enough. I have tried taking the legs off of the crix. I just put some in her viv to see if she will take them. I try to give it to her late. She doesn't come out of her hide until she thinks that no one is around. I took out the extras except one hide to give her time to just concentrate on the food. My other leo never had any probs when she came home. Anyhow, thanx for the advice. Any ideas about her feeding?

The blue dot isn't from the inside it's on the outside, Like some one took a blue marker and made a dot on her. I have one sick leo it is my leucistic, it is very skinny and I don't think it is eating but it just pooped?? It is about to shed right now. is this normal for a leo that is skinny and not eating to shed anyway? and any chance it will start to regain health after shed? anyone had this happen to them?

I have had them for about a month now. I got them both at the same time and the same place!
I'm sorry that I can't be of any help as I am having troubles as well. I hope that your little guy comes through it. Maybe try some of the things that I have tried for feeding, maybe they will help.

I bought a leo last year from a petstore (1st and last time).. I had her 2 weeks and she never ate. within that 2 weeks her tail looked like a lil straw, and she basically looked like a withered gecko sickle. Took her to the vet where they did a fecal, and the confirmed that she had crypto. From what i have read about crypto the dark spot on the belly is caused by hemorrhaging during the last stages of it. Crypto is extremely contagious, so if you think one leo may have it, remove the other into a different enclosure. Take the possibly ill one to the vet.. They charged me $20 for the fecal and to put her to sleep.
Hope everything is ok!

I am sooo sorry, that is soooo sad. I have put mine into quarantine. I do think that she is ok though. Thanx for the help. I think that she ahs eaten on her own. I haven't done a bug count yet, but it looks like there are fewer bugs in the viv.
Dani- when you feed your albino do u turn off the lights? albinos are sensitive to light and will have trouble hunting in the light for a while.
makveli- it's perfectly normal for leos to fast before shedding cause eating their skin takes a lot of digestive space. i heard from a friend that a gecko wont shed unless it's in a healthy state. and this is a complete guess but if the blue thing is on the outside would it be kinda like the belly button? i've never hatched leos.. just a guess

I emailed xtremereptiles and asked them if they have had any problems with their leucistics babies about a week ago and they never answered my email. I'll never buy from them again!
