View Full Version : Xenesthis intermedia
Ok, this is a real Xenesthis spp.
This is a very rare animal in the hobby. Truly gorgeous species with amazing legspan.
This specimen is a young juvenile female, that is why you are only starting to see the nice purple pattern on the prosoma.
Enjoy

Beautiful specimen, is this particular species agressive or fairly docile?
They are quite nervous animals. I shipped a few a month ago and I never had such problem to pack an animal!LOL
But they do not show any sigh of agression for the moment. I do not have any big specimens of this species, so I will be able to say more as they grow.
If they turn out to be like my big Xenesthis immanis females for the behavior, I would say they will only remain nervous but not agressive.
Take care
Martin
OK, here is another rarity, an undescribed species of the Xenesthis genus...
The legspan is absolutly amazing on those animals... unfortunatly, they will not keep this beautiful yellow coloration on the legs...
Enjoy

Whoa all your photos of Ts are just so beautiful, do you work with tailess whip scorpions any? :)
Crocsnhots,
"Unfortunatly", I only keep Theraphosid spiders (I pretty much have my hands full!)...
I have a friend that works with them (tailess whip), he actually breeds them also...
He keeps a few species, they are impressive animals...
