If you buy a one of Ray's Naja Haje babies I must warn you of a few things. 1 st they eat like Ray so you better have a good supply of pink. 2 they are very healthy and active. 3 they are beautiful. When Ray says they have great looks and great hood patterns he wasnt kidding. Now as a disclaimer he is my best friend and like a brother to me but I think i will let this picture say everything for Ray and these spectacular babies.

The one above is the male i bought from him, it is im guessing because i forgot bout 21 days old , it shed approx 10 days after birth and has just finished off its secound pink, the first was a african pygmy pink secound was a regualr mouse pink. Female was a little older and has taken 2 pinkies without a problem.

COOL! That looks like a cross between a naja atra and naja haje (probably not possible) Nice snake. (Ray, Got any more?)

Believe me, I will be calling Hunter in the morning. Thanks for sharing the cool pic. Are they eating live or prekilled?

Eating live. Keep in mind they need a hide area I actually took a bunch of broken floor tile and built a very large Cave and crevus<sp> setting for them. There are plenty of crevus's caves , nooks , crany's for them to hide in and bask on top of. They are kept seperate do to obvious reasons. A small water dish. I love watching them explore the whole area.

Thanks Matt. If i could only convince the female to hood up hers looks even better but she is just Mrs Kickback nothing phases her.

LOL actually Matt I was talking to Ray about her last night and was telling him I concider her more dangerous and deadly than any of my hots because of her gentle disposition. With her a person could become very complacant <sp> which could be fatal. The male is up and hooded and lunging forward his intentions are well known so he is less dangerous in that respect.

Just a few pics of the little haje we picked up from Ray at the Columbia show. Havent sexed him/her yet. Love the wierd hodd marking on this one. This baby hatched out at the Columbia show. I wish we were having the same luck with feeding as you stated, he/she hs refuse everything Ive tried so far. Im going to pick up a frog though and try scenting.
I am thinking of picking up a few more of these babies from Ray as well. :-)

Cheers!

Don't feel bad, some of the 30 I have left have not eaten yet either. Cobras userly do well in terms of eating, so I am not yet concerned.
