My 1 year old veiled fell of is branch yesterday night while he was sleeping.

I looked at him, he was in the bottom of is cage and he got back up is tree.

5 minutes later, fell again.. got back up and fell again..

I put him in a small tank for the night so he wouldn't fall again.

This morning when I put him back in his cage he seemed fine.

Should I be worried ??

He seems in perfect health, can't see anything wrong with him.

Only change I noticed is that he eats less, but still eats alot; crix, pinkies, worms..

I think he fell the 2nd time because he was too woozy from the 1st fall and couldn't grip himself strong enough.

Tell me what you think..

Monitor him for the next 24-48 hrs. If it happens again it's vet time. Other than that all his limbs are in working order, including toes? (moving, gripping ok now?) Hope he's fine.

hmmmm that doesnt seem right, cause chameleons are supose to have a firm grim, butenso is right you should monitor him for the next day or two. Did he fall again when you put him to a smaller tank???

I personally wouldn't be worried (though don't take my word for it) because the first time he could have just slanted a bit while sleeping and the other times are probably because he was "woozy" like you said. I've had my veiled fall before because I tried to pick her up and she ran away and lost of her balance and fell. But that's just my personal experience.

Update:
first 24 hours of supervision.

He looks fine, didn't fall yesterday night.
Probably a slip or a weak leave broke and made hm slip.

We'll see, he's still being closely watched.

Meow Mix. the smaller tank didn't have any branch, it was only big enough for him to sleep and reduce ll possible mouvement, he slept on the floor of that small enclosure.

the perches that your cham grips should be wide enough that its hands cannot grasp fully around the stick...could the stick it was on been too skinny for balancing? Just something to concider before rushing off to the vet. :)
