I have a 8 month old crested that has been off eating for about 6-8 weeks (eats very little and infrequently). It is very unusual for her as she always had a PSYCHOTICALLY aggressive feeding resonse and would eat anything in sight. She started to act this way after I came back from a 2 week holiday during which time my sister had been feeding and misting them for me. Well, now I've just noticed that one of her back legs is enlarged to about 3 times it's normal diameter and one of her front legs also looks a bit swollen. I tried touching it and it is quite solid, like hard muscle. Has anyone else had this happen?

Thanks...

I have never heard of this before, i suggest that you go to a vet to check it out. Hope every thing works out!!!

maybe a broken limb?

It could be MBD (metabolic bone disease)

My sick crestie had enlarged limbs too, it's the fibrous muscle tissue...doing stuff...

Take it to the vet.

I didn't! My little sister leaves herself signed in, I was on another comp in the house.....:P

Here I am, anyway.

I'd really go get that checked out. I did, and if I didn't I'd be one less crestie right now.
