I finally got my pygmy cories to spawn.
It was storming here last night, so I did a water change, brought the temp down, and threw in some java moss. This morning, the moss was covered in clumps of gold eggs, and the female cories look much slimmer.
I didn't know if they'd spawn, considering that my ratio is reverse of what it should be. I bought a bunch of juveniles and wound up with more females then males.
Oh...the species in question are C. pygmaeus and C. habrosus.
Anyway, I'm quite happy! =D
Has anyone else had any experience with these little guys?
Also, can anyone tell me about the orange and green striped cories? From what I saw it was completely natural, and quite stunning.
