hey guys. heres a pic of my "Long Nose" vine snake. it is the largest vine snake i have at the moment. 4.5 feet long, and his head is about the size of my thumb. i thought some people would like the pic.

Very nice!!!!! Have you looked inside their mouths? They've got some wicked teeth. They actually put out quite a bit of venom but it doesn't *seem* to be all that toxic. Its got a lot less of the neurotoxins found in the other Colubrinae, having some whopping big enzymes in there instead. Not sure of the action of the enzymes though. I got chomped by a big one while collecting in Asia and my hand ached for two days. Didn't swell up at all though, just deep aches.

I love looking straight at them and seeing the grooves in the skull that allow for them to be the only snakes with true binocular vision. Very cool ;-)

lol yeah. heres another pic for you guys! this is my Ahaetulla "qusetionable". i have compared them to eachother face to face.... they look different... still not gonna stop till i find out what it is!

JD . one of these days we need to hook up your pics are ten times better than what i get on my animals. By the way me big female A.prasinia is now take on full grown adult x breeder mice with no problem and her babies are on their third feeding of pinks. I will try to get some pics posted of her and them later today as its feed day.

That photo with the gecko in vine's mouth is strange...where is the gecko's head and body? I see a very thin throat...

great snakes.. we can't get healthy ones here in holland I think.. Only the real bad snakes come here :(.. It's a shame.. I would love to have them .

house gecko. and skin78, you cant get healthy ones anywhere. any ones that you get you have to treat for parasites.
