Urgent update on UK reptile show!!!

For anyone planning on attending the show on Sunday, but who are not yet members of the IHS (they originally said we could join on the door), we just received the following email... things have obviously changed!!!


Email from IHS membership secretary:

Folks sorry for this but due to unforseen circumstances the local EHO's in Doncaster are now taking the view that we cannot allow entry to 'on the day members'.
Since you all enquired about membership some time ago then perhaps you would be kind enough to e-mail your FULL details to me BEFORE Saturday evening. I will then print off your original e-mails and bring them along.
If you make yourselves known on the door we will then give you your membership. All you will need to do is make provision for payment.

I guess we've got the animal rights people to thank for this!!! I feel like a criminal trying to gain access to some illegal underground event! It's disgraceful, really!:mad:

Well, it would seem that the local council were petitioned by animal activists so they won't allow you to join on the day.

Latest (according to livefood.co.uk) is if you get your details to the IHS secretary by midnight (UK time!), you can pick up your membership card on the door.
Shame we have to go through this isn't it!
Well done to the IHS secretary for helping us attend in spite of the problems...
