Cooling in the Winter

Hi. I was just wondering how everyone cools their pythons during the winter. I live in BC, in an apartment and this coming winter will be the first time I actually cool (they spent their previous winters cooling at someone else's house) them. What are the ideal temps for cooling? Is there any heat provided at all during the winter? What about feeding them during this time?

Does anyone have links to cooling that I can read?
