View Full Version : Assassin Bugs????
Does anyone know if there are any species of/or similar to assassin bugs in Southwestern Ontario? I've been finding these little critters in my house every so often and they look alot like assassin bugs or perhaps some weird mutant tick (though I'm positive it's not a tick). I don't have a digital camera so I can't post a pic but I can't find anything on the internet that will help me identify them.
I don't usually reply to my own posts but for any of you who read this and were curious, I found out what it was...and I was correct in my assumption.

Wow that's pretty cool! I thought maybe it was just those stink bugs. My friend has twin spotted assassin bugs. But those look awsome. Put one in a deli and feed it a cricket it is creepy. The assassin bug jumps on it's back and jabs it with it's ............ the needle sucker for lack of a better word or discription........... and rides on it back. If you have more then one in there they will all jump on it. Totally creepy. It is one of those things you are seriously glad aren't bigger! TB
Wanna send me some?:D
This is the third one I've found in my apartment so I'm gonna hit the basement tonight and look around. If I find more I'd be happy to send them to you if you're interested. I had a pinhead cricket in with this one but it showed no interest in it.
