Albino or reg burm

I heard that albino burms don't get as big as regular phase burms. Is that true? What's the biggest you've ever seen a male albino burm.

as far as i know there about the same size, my albino is 16ft and is 4 years old, my normal is 8 ft at 9mths

albinoism should not effect growth at all... :)

I think they have the same size potential. My albino is three years old and 13ft and she is still growing. My male normal is 4ft at six months.

it really all depends on the genetics of the snake, some albinos will be bigger than normals and vice versa, if u are looking to get a "smaller burm" your best bet would be a runt male.

Yeah, I honestly don't think the snake being an albino or not has anything to do with what size they'll get to.

My het for albino burm is 4' 4" and 4 months.

None of the modern captive born burms will carry the massive size their assisters from Burma carried. In the wild the biggest and strongest mate. In captivity, the smallest and brightest colors mate. There should be no size difference in CB albino and CB normal burms. They all are inbreed and reduced size. If you are hoping for a big snake, you better buy an import from Burma.
