Ok, I know I knew this in elementary school, but if given the dimension 24 inches H, 18 inches D, and 48 inches L , how many gallons does a this tank hold? (shouldn’t it be lxwxh?, but it doesn't seem right.)

well.... I'm not familiar with your anglosaxon measures as I live in Switzerland (Europe) and we are using the metrical system here but I guess that if you multiplied inches by inches by inches you'll find cubic INCHES not gallons....I don't know the ratio to transform cubic inches into gallons...sorry

So if I did it right....
24 inches x 18 inches x 48 inches = 20,736 cubic inches
20,736 divided by 231 (cubic inches per gallon) = 89.766 gallons
So those dimensions are for a 90 gallon tank?

Sound right?

I bought a tank from someone that now I want to sell. He said it was a 70 gallon tank, but I thought someone else told me it was a 90 gallon. I want to make sure before I try to sell it.

Then the fool that sold me the "70" gallon tank could have probably hit me up for more cash. Thanks.

He sold that tank and stand to me for about $150, how much do you think I can get for it?

Moving to Hawaii,
can't take the snakes,
can't have/take any reptiles,
don't care too much for fish,
and we so we're going to get a dog.

I just got an offer for $175 (I got it for $150)- good deal, or should I push fo rmore?
