My newest Boa

Well i just picked up this handsome fellow yesterday at the calgary show and he already took down a large rat no prob.
He is a lot longer than i thought but thats ok, nice and lean and ready to make some sweet sweet love to my big female :).

He is actually alot lighter than the pics but you get the idea.
i just love the tail on this guy.

That boa was an absolute gem. RedDragon and I both really enjoyed his company on Sunday. He didn't even really hold on that hard when we were handling him, which I think shows a calm, confident snake. You're lucky Tim... you almost didn't get him back. :) Then again, we're really happy that you left us with dibs on Ryan and Sheila's BCI. So we all won. :)

Yeah it was a good deal for all.
i told you that you would prob be getting ryan and sheila's bci.
Once i seen this guy i pretty much just had to have him, and i cant wait till he sheds to see what he looks like then. He is already eating like mad but i dont want to get him too full before i start cooling him :)

Yes Yes i am. hopefully things will work out ok, i fed the male a small meal and the female is still digesting that big rabbit i fed her so once i see the female done digesting i will start to cool, then hopefully make some babies....

Congrates on the new snake. Beautiful markings. I got my first Boa 2 months ago. He is beautiful, very docile & friendly. We fall asleep together watching Animal planet...Lol. Mines a year old & about 5ft. How old & how big is he?
