Average Human Height?

I was wondering, what do u consider the "average" human Height?

I'm 5'7... 19...

dad being 5'4, mom 5'
and u guys?

Average Height Is Hard to determine Think of The Average Height of a North american and the average Height of Asian People Your Desent has a good amount to do with it And most people in north america Are European's

yea there are a lot of short people in asia, thats why when i go to china town, i feel better :)

Well I'm 5'4 and my 12 year old son is 5'9 and no where near full height yet.....and his dad is 5'11
I think the average female height in the uk is 5'6 and for males its about 5'9.
I think my son's gonna play a bit of basketball when he's older...lol

I come from a family of midgets! My mom is 4'10", my dad is 5'3", my sister is 4'11" and lucky me, I'm 4'9"!

It's all good though, good things come in small packages!!!

damn wish i were about 5'11 or 6 foot ish... always liked basketball but with being so short its hard to play... i like dunking but it'll never happen with my current height... it sucks!

An impossible question due to the great ethnic/geographic diversity of humans. Personally I'm 5'11" (26yrs) as is my brother (24yrs). Our parents are 6'1" (father) and 5'8" (mother). European descent.

I'm 5'3... mom & sister are 5'1 & 5'2, dad's around 5'10... I WAS tall until I stopped growing in like grade 8... lol. Then everyone shot past me... ah well...

Personally I'd say that average height for girls would be around 5'5-5'6, and for males around 5'10-5'11...

No one in my family is under 5'9" and the tallest is about 6'7"-8" .
I'm 5'10" and my daughter who just turned 4 is already 4' tall, her doctor says she will most likely hit the six foot mark.

If I'm not mistaken, I read somewhere a while ago, that the average North American height for men was 5' 11" and for women was 5'4".

I think HetForHuman defies the average laws of height. ;) I'm a little over 5'6", my mother is only 5'2", my father is 5'8", and my younger 20 yr old brother is 5'10". Going to a family reunion on my mother's side makes you feel like you're in the Land Of Oz. *LOL*
