Awsome enclosure... but you wouldnt happen to have directions to make that exact one. With the two stackable enclosures.. thats exactly what I need to build for some BCI's.. I got the $$$... just not the plans lol

Ah great, Now would something like that be able to house full grown Red Tails?

Nice work!

If I may make a suggestion; IMO-It is a good idea to remove the upc codes off the hides, the humidity loosens the glue and when the snake slithers over the hide he may slide the label off and get the glue on him/her.

I actually make my own hides - I believe they like to have there backs tight against the top...see my gallery for an example. NOTE I also fill some up with moss.

I use a flat bottom tupperwear water bowl large enough for the snake to submerge in, the flat bottom will not tip over when your snake climbs in.

Cheers
Brian

Yes you are right about the upc codes and i took them off.

These hides i use seem to work fine as that is all i ever use and they always use them.

And the water bowl is just in there for the time being, i just threw the cage together quick for now.

Thanx for the tips though.

and your quite welcome, Regards

Nice construction though some cage decoration would be a nice touch.

Im not much into all the fake plants and everything, i like to keep it fairly simple.

two of the nice things about fake plants is they give extra hides and look nice.

I didn't even notice the vents in the top cage at first - very unobtrusive, as opposed to the shiny brass register vents I've seen used in other enclosures. Awesome cages!

What do you use to heat them with?

I assume that all those enclosures are in a suitably heated room rather than having individual heat sources in each enclosure... can't be sure about that though...

Nope, just checked the link Het posted and he's using a combination of high ambient temps in his house and a human heating pad. I tried that but the heating pad I have seems to stop producing heat after a certain period of time but leaves the light burning deceptively.
