Breeders: Most sales???

Okay all you breeders out there, I thought I'd post a poll to see how each of us make most of our sales.

Online classifieds and word of mouth. Reptile sals can totally snowball if people have big mouths!! LOL!

We prefer the show/expo venue as it gives us a better opportunity to deal directly with the prospective keeper. Given the chance, we like to make sure that the specimens we've put so much into producing and raising receive equal or superior quality of care after they leave our hands.

For each sale we make, I think we convince at least two other people not to buy our animals until they are better prepared. It also gives the new owner a direct line back to us instead of having to rely on the testimony of "trained pet counsellors" to get the answers they need.

While I'm not a breeder (yet), all my cage sales have been word of mouth.

I usually get them sold by word of mouth. But whatever i cant sell i either give to friends/family or sell to trustworthy petstores.
