Cheap Plexiglass

is there any place in the u.s. for cheap plexiglass or is there any good alternitive to plexiglass?it is so very expensive!!

Avoid places like Home Depot. Go straight to a plastics manufacturer, you can find them in the yellow pages of your phone book ;) They are loads less and will usually make any cuts you need, some will even take on entire projects for you. Really only other alternative is regular glass, but it isn't as strong and it is much heavier.

well, sorry to possibl sound rude but too late.i went this morning and but 3-3x6 quarter inch sheets for 290.00.My iguana will be so happy to have rid of his chicken wire!!

could have made it with melanine with front glass... would have cost you quarter price...

try Lucite, its a brand of plexy, quite cheap in canada, 30x60 inch are about 18$us 1/8inch
