update on Farkus

only good things to report! Farkus has taken her third adult mouse as of sunday. she is now 140g (she has trippled in size since her vet trip on july 31) i just ordered a 25ct bag of f/t rat weanlings. i will start to cut into my breeder mice since i wont need them, and start to scent them with the rats so they start to get used to the smell/taste.

BTW does anyone know haw to thaw a rat and have it dry, fark is hesitent but will take a f/t semi wet mouse. she doesnt whack it like she does f/k.

Good to hear man.

how i unthaw them is put the mouse/rat in warm water and let it defrost like that. once i feel the mouse/rat is not frozen anymore i run hot water over it to get it heated up and dry it off on paper towel and then feed right away while it is still nice and warm.
