I was wondering if other blue tongue skink owners could share with me their blue tongue housing? Type of cage, size, etc. Thanks.

Thanks Wuntu. I am hoping to get my bts a new cage, because I feel his is too small. Mine is in a cage measuring 1.5x3x1.5 (recommended by a breeder) and I feel it is too small. I have had my bts for about 4 years, and he has always spent a lot of his time trying to climb up the glass and looking for a way out. I'm thinking he needs more room. Other than that, the rest of my set up is identical to yours. I just have to figure out a way to afford a new cage!

That's about the same size we had before as well and our skink behaved similarly to what you describe. I just called up the local custom tank builder and he agreed to my specs for $110 Cdn. Now the skink can cruise around all day and he seems to think he's going somewhere.
The only problem is the height. We have the BTS cage on top of another that's 3 feet high so we had to buy a step stool to reach over the top for maintenance.

my bts is in a cage 6x3x3 with 8.0 uvb and a 150 watt heat lamp. a Large heat rock and alot of other rocks sand sub 2 hidesa couple real plants. I feel that is to small. I thinks they are just so big on life that they will take up all the space no matter how big the cage is.

I think you're right on that point. I'd like to find out just how large a territory an adult BTS would stake out in the wild. That would certainly shed some light on cage design.
Did you say heat rock?? Let's not start that one up again...
LRK, are you attending the Calgary show this weekend by any chance?
