Depsite being a Canadian... I really only got hooked on American Idol for both years. I watched little bits and pieces of Canadian Idol because my sister, mom, and dad were in to it. I only watched the full episodes today and yesterday... and I have to admit... I was pretty scared after seeing Ryan's performance yesterday that he was going to end up losing! :eek: I was so relieved! Woohoo! :D I still think it wasn't as great as American Idol though... I don't know... just had trouble getting in to it, but had no problems at all getting in to American Idol... even though when I saw previews for it and found out what it was I thought it would be one of those horrible shows that I can't stand :o LOL poor Mike hated it... made him sit through it quite a few times though :p Come on... this year the finale of American Idol brought in more viewers than the superbowl, as well as advertising was more! :eek: Everyone says they hate it... statistics just go to prove there are a bunch of closet idol freaks :p

I couldnt watch Canadian Idol it suck too badly They Should Have Put Bruce Allen On the show as the "Simon" Then it would have Been at least entertaining

The quality of the singing was certainly up there -- Ben Mulroney sucked, they should've tried to get Ryan Seacrest to do the show... and it really wasn't the same without Simon... lol. I have to admit that I watched the whole thing from beginning to end though, complete with voting ;) I really wanted Billy to win, but Ryan was a close second...

If Simon were on this show those two clowns wouldn't have even made it to the finals! Of the entire thing I only watched the last 5 minutes lastnight of Ryan's preformance.....wasn't really my cup of tea...whatever though each to their own...

I hope to live one day again in a world without reality shows!

Lolol, I never got hooked on those shows. For those that live around quebec, there is another really sucky show called Star Akadémie... Really sucks. Who cares if all the signers are little whiners taht talk about each other in bad ways.

I watched it last night for the first time for about 15 minutes. Not really impressed. I had been hoping for Tyler Hamilton to win. He's an old football buddy of mine. I guess he got the cut a few weeks ago.
