View Full Version : update on leo with hurt arm.

Well, as you can see it is going to be good news from the smilie face. :)
Anyway, some of you will remember I had a little tang that did something to her arm, I thought it was broken or out of the socket and the vet thought it might be fractured. Well over the last couple weeks she just seems to be getting better and better. First the arm seemed to go back into place, it didn't flop backward anymore but was extremely swollen with liquid which also was in her back legs. The swelling went down slowly within the next few days until now she has only a bit of swelling at her shoulder. She will now eat on her own when I put mealies in front of her, as long as she doesn't have to run after them, she also uses her arm fully again. I'm so happy I waited it out and I have decided to name her Chance because I took a chance on her. ;)

So, here is Chance a couple days ago, the swelling has gone down since this picture. :)

P.s. she turned 1 month yesterday.

Thats the best news you could hear eh? I would hate to have injured or sick animals..to much stress. Congrats and good luck with the little guy in the future!
