Caught this girl the other night after a couple of months of searching for a female for my male. Hopefully have some captive breds next spring and start working on some color variations. Let me know what you guys think.

Are you allowed to collect those? I always thought you couldn't collect without permits. Then again, do you need one in Texas?

These are Brevis not reticulatus. The Big Bend variety(reticulatus) is protected.

Thanks! Glad you guys like her. Yes I caught her myself after looking for quite sometime for a female. I do have a male and hopefully will get them going this spring. Eggs are super tiny as this species is only 4-5 inches tops. They are such a fun little gecko. They do this tail wave similiar to leopards and fatties right before they attack their prey. I will try and get a good pic of the male and post him as well. The males are super easy to distinguish in this species becuase they have little spurs right at the base of the tail.
