Recently my cham has been leaning towards one side. It's mostly his head that's leaning. I'm not sure why he's doing this. He hasn't been eating much lately either, but he still drinks. I took some pics but it takes forever to load them from my computer, so i was wondering if you could give me some suggestions as to why he's doing this. I can post the pics if they are needed. Thanks!

Is he doing this while he's under the basking light by any chance?

It's called thermoregulation. They will lean to one side or the other, flattening themselves to expose more their body to the source of heat, thus absorbing the warmth faster. If you look closely, the half of the body that is closer to the heat bulb will be dark coloured while the cooler half will remain light, normal colouration. Neat eh?

If I remember correctly, you've got a Veiled Chameleon and he's getting older now. In another words, he's not a baby or juvenile chameleon any more. I find that as they mature, their appetites decrease, so perhaps this is what is happening with Boris.

Does this help? If not, you may have to post those pics.

Ah, ok! Thanks! The thermoregulation makes sense. It just seemed strange so i got worried. And i'm shocked, Trace, that you remembered his name :) hehe!
