Just had my Double-Het Ghost female lay a second clutch of eggs yesterday. She had produced her first clutch in early May and had since shed twice before this clutch.

She had good weight after laying her first clutch and was fed a normal maintenance diet in preperation for the big sleep. I had noticed her looking swolen after a shed and fearing a clutch of slugs, decided to introduce this girl to her mate just to be on the safe side.

She ended up laying 9 eggs (4 slugs, 5 fertile) without being power fed to induce her to do so. I don't like to push my females to lay second clutches but this girl had her own agenda.

These babies will be expected somewhere in Mid-November....

Yer right Will, must be the water giving me all those slugs!

Mary, the pairing was Double-Het X Double-Het Ghost and can yield Hypos, Anerythristics and the 1/16 chance for a Double mutation Ghost.

Now the waiting game....
