Hi all,
I have been feeding my almost two month old corn snake babies one pinky a week since I got them... However, this week I fed them on Sunday, and then on Thursday they were going crazy, looking for more food I think. I have four very little runty pinky mice left, would it be ok to feed them each two pinkies this week? Or should I move up to a fuzzy? I definately don't want to overfeed them.

Invictus, just curious what/how often are you feeding yours right now? Since mine are (hopefully) at the same size as yours.

I would try one fuzzy and see if they take it.

It would not hurt and it would not be necessarily over feeding to give him 1 pinkie every 4-5 days. Maybe even 2 pinkies. Keep feeding, you don't need to worry about over feeding at this stage.

Hi Leanne,

Yup... only takes the little machines 4 days to digest and they are looking for more food. Right now we have them on 1 pinky every 5 days. They are due for another feeding tomorrow though, and they are growing like weeds, so I think I'm going to move them up to 2 pinkies. My concern with giving them fuzzies right now is that the fuzzies might be too wide, even though the overall mass might be ok.

I posted a picture last night of my 2.5 month old sucking down his first hopper (an unknowingly getting moved to a 7 day schedule with it lol).

Hi Leanne,

I have some siblings of yours too and they are fed every 5 days. Should be no problem to feed the extra pinks you have - several of mine are taking two per feeding and most are on peach fuzzies (the pinkies that look a bit colored with a light coating of fur). They make a big bulge but it is gone quickly. Our ghosts and amels from Mark have grown faster than the hypo snows and are getting small fuzzies now.

IMHO they can easily take two pinkies, if not small/normal fuzzies. My hatchings who just turned a month and a week old are moving up to normal sized fuzzies next feeding. They all grow at different rates but don't worry about overfeeding. When they can easily take two, they will be able to easily take a fuzzie basically.

My corn is going to be 2 months old next thursday and he just took two small fuzzies in one meal for the first time yesterday.

Alright, thanks all, looks like it will be two pinkies for breakfast tomorrow morning, then perhaps off to search for fuzzies.

I love you guys, it's like a big ol' group hug in here ;)
