i really need help about my water dragon. a few days ago he fell and hurt his arm and i think it is broken or sprained.the guy at amazone told me to put polysporin on it. he still is active but he drags his arm. what should i do?
also his tail looks like he is sheding. do water dragons shed??
and is it normal for them to open their mouth often?

It's vet time for your water dragon.

Yes they shed. How much is he/she gaping? All the time or just when you approach? How long have you had this dragon?

Polysporin cannot heal broken bones or sprains!!! Ha ha, its just for abrasions! LOL!

we had for 1 month and his mouth is open mostly all the time and when we are near him. we have two tanks on the same wall unit one has a light and heating pad and the one on bottom has just a 24hr. light.could it be making it to hot?

The gaping sounds like a threat display. You need an accurate thermometer. Vet asap!

theart..... like attack us or the other animals.lol.
but i don't see no reason for that none of them can see each other. and when we touch him he never bites or snaps or anything to that effect. do u know a vet in montreal?

Iceman - call any vet near you and ask for an exotics vet. Your dragon needs a vet now!

He may also be gaping because he's too hot. You need a thermometer and to find out what temp he's at.

VET!

All polysporin does it keep a wound from becoming infected, like Jeff said, it does not heal a bone.

If you bought this water dragon from Amazon, it's time for a vet. It probably has some parasites. I lost many reptiles I bought from there due to infections and parasites.
Villerye PApineau is a good vet for your reptiles, try and get doctor Sikorsky to see your reptile.

we have a thermometer and it goes between 28 to 32 c. and we spray him.
