In my enclosure for leo, I used ceramic tile for substate
try to cut! damn its a mess...
I was wondering if useing foil tape to cover the "in between 2"
wouldn't be toxic? it would give waterproof and they wont be
able to get their leg stuck...

I used marine silicone but for bigger sized cracks and corners
I tought it would be better foil tape

my 4'x32" 3 stage terra is almost finish... so there will be lotsa
pics :P

Foil tape really doesn't stick too well, and does come up easy. I'm sure any adhesive is toxic. That will be a hard enclosure to heat properly. Only thing that comes to mind is heat tape along the back wall. I would use some thin plastic panel to cover the back so it acts like a radiator for the heat tape.

Thats a tough one.

If you have a Home Depot, they will cut ceramic tile for you. They use a special saw that runs water down so that ceramic tile dust doesn't fly everywhere. They do it for free if you are buying the tiles from them. Lowes or some other places may do it as well.
