Try getting Cypress bark mulch from Home Depot, Loews, Walmart, etc. Being you live in TX it should be available all year round.

ok sounds good but i have always been scared of using that stuff ive always thought that it had been treated and would heart my snakes so do you have experince with it ? and do you think it would be good for my animals expecially leos, corns, and bps

go to your local greenhouse and get a big bag of orchid bark.
it is the exact same stuff as repti-bark but alot cheaper.

and its not treated or any thing ? it has no fertiliser or chimicals that will harm the snake ?

nope.
like i said it is the exact same as repti-bark.
but i usually washed it under warm water and let it sit out to dry before i put it in the cages.
but i dont use it anymore because i think newspaper is much better.

just flat newspaper.
take the pages and lay them flat all along the bottom of the cage.
i usually use about 4-5 layers as well.

I've never had a problem with cypress mulch before. But you also can't go wrong with using news papers.
