View Full Version : Snare Drum
Hey, I am now playin' the snare drum which is VERY loud. And I have to play inside of my room where my BP is kept. Do u think it hurts him in any way? (hearing) Its about 10-15 ft away from him, but snare is pretty loud.
Thanks!

Snakes can't hear, they have no ears, they can feel vibrations though...

It won't like it. Move the snake, or move the drum.
I would say that the loudness isn't the problem. More the vibrations the drum puts off. It can stress your snake out. I agree with Jeff. Move one of the 2. :D
Eep. I agree. A little bit of noise from time to time is ok enough, but that is waaaaaaay too much. Won't hurt his hearing since he's next to deaf, but most definitely can stress him out. Balls especially stress easy compared to other snakes.

As I mentioned in a another thread (Playing loud music near your herps), the vibrations can really stress them out. I agree with Jeff, move the snake or drum.
