The size of the Jampea retic is about 10-12 feet for a female and most likely 8-10 for a male. There are Kayuadai(sp?) retic is aswell which is supposed to be even smaller. There are crosses between the two and that is called a Super Dwarf and I am not sure on their size. Supposedly the striped morph of the retic is also a dwarf being that I've heard specimens of this morph tend to be on the small size at about 10 feet at two years of age.
To my knowledge there are a select few in the country with these animals and none have been reproduced as of yet but within the next year we should see some. Most notably Chris Marshall with his Albino dwarf retics.

ok the kayuadai dwarfs are smaller than the jampea but i dont know by how much, no Super Dwarfs are quite a bit smaller! they stay around 6+ feet but i dont know of any being CB, what i own is a cross between the jampea dwarfs and the super dwarfs, there first hatchlings hatched in dec 02 so no one knows how big they get but i would predict around 9 feet, but then again they could be anywhere from 6-12.

I recently saw a pic of a kayuadai adult male and well he was SMALL. We are talking roughly 6 feet since it was coiled up but it wasn't bigger then 6. So I would say a super dwarf would be roughly 6-8 for a male and 8-10 for a female. This is just a estimate on the size of the other species.

accaly super dwarf retics are about 5 for male and 6 for females. ;)

Actually wait....maybe im not corrected..lol. How could a super dwarf stay that small when thats the kayuadi?
The only types of dwarfs not yet reproduced in captivity are the super dwarfs( males average 5'-females average 6'). Jampeas( the larger of the dwarfs) have been reproduced on several occasions, I believe the most recent by Shaun DeBord. Kayaudi's( not much bigger than super dwarfs) wre reproduced this year by an individual named W. Murdoch. Two clutches actually. Mike Wilbanks had a female super dwarf develope follicles, and breed. But then she re-absorbed. Hopefully the outcome is better this year. And of course he produced the Super x Jamps also, like Mike177 has a pair of. And the Stripes have been produced 3 times by Bob Clark, the adults both being under 10'. And of course Bob's albino dwarfs. which everyone knows whats was bred to achieve those( Lucky Mr Marshall!). So yes we should see more in the near futer, and i am one that sure hopes so. I have 2.1 super dwarfs, 1.0 Kayaudi, and 0.1 jampea, 0.1 stripe. They are interesting animals for sure.

Thank you bebo. I'm glad to see someone else from the Clark forums.
Doesn't Bob have albinos het for stripe?
Thank's ; I don't believe he does. He bred the stripe to the albino back in 99 or 00 i think. But i'm not sure how that turned out. But I'm pretty sure he doesn't have albinos het for stripe.
