One of the females I am getting rid of dropped these 14 little gems. Coppers are still the cutest baby snake there is. They look so inquisitive. There are a couple keepers in the batch.

There is one that I forgot to get a pic of that lacks the neck band. One of the first times I have seen that. Not a big deal, but definately catches your eye.

This is why i was trying to get rid of the female before she dropped, because I knew she would have some keepers that I could not turn down :D

The mother certainly looks like anorthern to me. But being from North Atlanta area, she is probably an integrade to some degree.

Amazingly enough, I just got off the phone a few minutes ago and most of these (ecxept the ones I'm keeping) are going to a venomous keeper near me. Takes a huge pressure off me. I was hoping I wouldn't have 14 more mouths to feed this fall ;) If anyone decides to get coppers at Columbia, I would recommend buying from SHHS members to help support the community :) While on Columbia, I urge all hot keepers to NOT buy any snakes from Glades at the show. It is not because they sell voids (my usual reason), but last year I saw them sell an 18 year old a Monocled Cobra for his first SNAKE! Not first hot, first snake!

Everything SCR bought from Glades at the Bristol Expo died, too. Not bad mouthing, just stating a fact.

That's funny...Almost everything I bought from Chuck died.....Hmmmm, could he be moonlighting?

In VA we saw Glade’s sell a spitting cobra to a 17 year old kid.

ACK!!!!! It is enough to sicken you to see stuff like that! At least a few more hot keepers know not to deal with them. I think we agree onthat. :D

Easy guys.. That's what the BOI is for.. :)
And glad to hear that the ones you aren't keeping are placed for new homes already!

I think we agree onthat.
Oddly enough, we do sort of agree. I think it’s very necessary for venom herpiculture to police itself, cause if we don’t, the government is going to do it for us. I don’t wish any bad luck on Rob, Glade’s has done a lot to advance this hobby and I wish them well, but I wish they would use a little more judgment when selling life threatening venomous. But they are not the only ones! A vender at the same VA show sold an adult monocle cobra to a guy who had never kept venomous of any kind. When we carried it to the car for him, he asked me how to get it out of the bag once he got it home. You would think that he would have considered that prior to buying it, but I guess not.

Awwwwwwww, that what my girl Miss Money Penny looked like when I first got her. There are some amazing patterns in that batch, congrats on the litter and finding them a good home.
