I found this in my tegu tank today. I am almost positive its a meal worm beetle because it cant be anything else but is it harmful if my tegu eats it. Its perfect size for my tegu since mine is still a baby. Should i also clean out the substrate so this doesnt happen again? im pretty sure there are some meal worms roaming around in the mulch.
thanks in advance

nice congrats on that. Hope you have luck with all of the Pupae...lol pupated is a funny word lol
Looks like a mealie beetle to me. If your tegu wants to eat em, go for it, but most herps don't seem to like em  Tegus are pigs though....lol :p
