this will probably be my next snake,,a bci,boa constrictor imperater,i held one at a pet shop and it was amazing,so soft, and friendly..could anyone give me some info on them,temperment,size..and so on?
thanks
Under the assumption the BCI you looked at was a Colombian and not another locale...
Care: Relatively easy to care for. Humidity around 55%, temperature gradient of 80-90.
Size: Anywhere between 5.5'-10', average size is between 6'-8'.
Temperament: Highly variable. If you have a baby you have a better chance at conditioning it to be a more calm, handleable animal.
i red that there very docile,he said it was a bo constrictor imperator..it was a greyish color with like diamands on the back, and very soft..

BCI's are fabulous pets to own, and I think everyone should have at least 1.

Iceman,
Before getting a BCI are you ready to spend at least $10.00 per rabbit (unless you know of someone or somewhere where you can get it cheaper) to feed to the BCI when its an adult? And are you also prepared to clean up some big loads of doo doo? I must tell you, a 4ft bci doesnt look that big, but if fed enough and properly it can give you a BIG load of mess whenever it feels like it wants to go im not trying to discourage you from getting a BCI or anything, but just wanted to make sure your ready for what your about to get, although BCI's arent that much of a biggie, their poo is! lol, anyways good luck!
Thanks,
Ben
