We bred our first pair of hondurans this year and got a clutch of 4, and 2 hatched successfully. (The other 2 didn't pip and when I opened them one was tiny and underdeveloped and the other had not absorbed the yolk yet). Not the greatest success rate, but still very happy with the two that did hatch - a male and a female. They have had their first 2 meals so I wanted to share some photos of them and the parents.

They all look awesome Mary. Parents included. I think the black tipping on the mother's scales is kinda neat.

Thanks everyone for the kind words - I really like these babies - will likely have to keep both of them as they are our first ones.
Will be posting some shots of my two new adults on the weekend - they have fed now and are settling in well. Hondurans are a great species - we are really looking forward to next year's breedings,

Thanks again to everyone for kind words.
Marc - the male is about 5 feet - clean of black tipping but his narrow bands are very narrow - definately see that influence in the two hatchlings.
It is such a thrill to have these little guys - for some reason I find having eggs hatch is really special - just so neat to think that these crazy, active little monsters hatched out of such small eggs.
Looking forward to many years with hondurans,
mary v.
