I always go two my self. It has been suggested to go two to four weeks as well. Then wait until they've eaten 4 times in a row and defficated once before handeling. In the begining it is suggested to keep it to 15 minutes per week. This may be a bite over kill but it's the guidelines given in the Ball Python Manual which is written with the acclimation of WC adults in mind.

Congrats on your new BP's. I have only had my 1.0 for 6 days.
I brought mine home last Saturday, he stayed mostly hidden for the next fews days, but then on Tues & Wed he started to come out and explore a little more and looking like he was starting to settle, so I decided to offer him some food on Wednesday night and he happily ate it (only 5 days after i bought him).
They are no hard and fast rules, but when they start to feel settled they are more likely to accept food, could only take or a day or two or could take a couple of weeks.
Good Luck with them and keep us posted.
Fiona.
Yes one to two weeks. You'll be able to tell when your snakes start to get settled. You'll catch them roaming their enclosures at night and that'll be your first clue. I made my girl wait 7 days before I offered though she was roaming after 4. She ate voraciously for me. Swallowed one hopper and started looking for another. Good luck. :D
Whenever I get a new snake, be it a hatchling or an adult, I try to feed it immediately. Your snake is already stressed out enough with the new environment, surroundings, and travel time, so why stress him out by not feeding him? I had 3 snakes come in my plane in the last 3 months, one hatchling, and two yearlings. I got them home, set them up in their new environment, and at night, offered them food. All three of these snakes ate, and did not regurge. WHy not try it? Worst they can do is say "no!".

I try to feed it immediatly... once i get it, i'll introduce a rat pup. Later that day i'll do it again. AAALL of my BP's i've had at in less than 4 days.

Funny every thing I've ever read says to give the snakes an acclimation period, I wonder why that it is?

My hogs needed live to get them goinging. Then they took stuned, then F/K then F/T. They would not make the jump from one to the other they went in that order.
