do they stop jumping out of your hands when they get older? the one i have just wants to leap all the time. the other is calm. but they won't sit still. it would be nice to be able to hold them and not have to chase them...or is this an individual trait?

i have been told thay they calm down as they get older, if u handle them alot. I guess it cant be guaranteed, but it seems to be the norm

From my experience, it seems to be variable. Some of mine tame down in a heartbeat, while others are completely insane and will not let you come near.

I had that problem with one of my White Line Geckos when I first got her. I just handled her about 10 mins a day for a week or so and she calmed right now. I can honestly say she is now my most tame gecko of them all.

When I got three baby cresties in January, they were very very jumpy. I couldn't really even get them out of their tank without them jumping out of my hands at least once. After about a month or two, they were perfectly calm. I suppose it depends on the gecko, seeing as one I had went from extremely tame to extremely nutty and crazy.
