I got this little guy today......is it normal for them to have this much white when they are young? Mine is only about 12-14 inches......

Nice mex! Not sure about the white.
Mine only had a few spots going down her back. And of course the white belly spots which are starting to fade nicely :D. I'm sure as yours ages it'll start loosing most, if not all of them. Here's a pic of mine when she still had spotting on her back.

I don't know about anyone else's but mine sure isn't.......everytime I get it out I get sprayed with feces, rine and musk, lol.....I'm sure he'll calm down with age but for now he is not my favorite snake to handle, lol.

Yes some will have some white spots that usually disappear as the snake grows larger.

Wow! That's a wicked looking Mex Beardonicus! Our neonate King likes to musk everytime Inivictus or I get him out. The adult on the other hand happens to find Invictus tasty. ;)

lmao.....yeah, this little guy loves to spray me good and rattle his tail......no biting, but I think I'd rather him bite than spray, lol.
If you're lucky, your snake will lose all his/her spotting. My girl had only two spots of white under her chin, but now she's a solid jet black. I love the shine on mex blacks.
Congrats on acquiring him/her.
Nice mex Beardonicus! Maybe he'll learn that biting is more fun and stop musking you hehe
