Hi all!

Just to remind everyone, the annual Canadian Amphibian & Reptile Conservation Network conference is combined this year with the Pelee Island Endangered Species festival. The CARCNET conference runs from Thursday Sept. 11 to Sunday Sept. 14, while the ESF events run from Friday Sept 12 to the 14th.

It's a great chance to see 'tropical' Canada (home to some great herps including endangered blue racers, Lake Erie watersnakes, fox snakes), meet herp researchers and conservationists from across Canada, and have some fun!

More details are available at http://www.carcnet.ca/english/annualmeeting2003.html (CARCNET conf.) and www.wildsofpelee.ca (ESF).

Please note that if I have spoken with you about this previously I may have given you the wrong dates- I had them recorded incorrectly on my calender.

We will be heading for the island on Wed. Sept. 10, and returning on Monday Sept. 15, and we will have room for some extra people in our van if anyone needs a ride.

I hope to see you there!

Sad to hear it, Jordan, although I'm sure you'll have a great time in Saskatchewan! What are you doing out there? Will you be visiting Scales Zoo?
