Albino Strains

Hey what is the best way to tell the difference between the Las Vegas & Tremper strains of albanism? I'm not sure what I have he looks a little like both to be honest. Any help will be greatly apprecaited I can post a pic as well.

Let me know what type he is, I'm leaning towards Tremper becasue it's more common.

He is young. Isn't he?? In the second pic he look like a tremper but in the third pic he look like a Las Vegas. I'd say Las Vegas. Got to be confirm!!

My guess is L.V. as well. Only one way to find out - breed it to another albino!

My guess is Tremper... I'd try asking Dan, or Beth -- they both work with both strains, so they might have a better idea of what each strain looks like at that age :)

She is still way to small to breed :p

I would say Tremper.


It just has the look of a Tremper it is hard to explain but after seeing literally 100's of both strains I can tell which is which on sight.

But the only way you know for sure is to breed it to another albino.
