only eating pinkies!

I wished and i wished but it didnt work because i got a PICKY eater. My black and white argentine tegu will only take pinkies. Pinkies are the only size of mouse he can take right now but i wanna him to eat mealies and silks also. He will only eat pinkies and nothing else..what should i do and is this ok for him? i havnt tried chicken yet but im gonna try that too soon.

what about rubbing the mealies or silks against the pinkie to get them to smell like it

cut the pinkies up (assuming you use frozen) or even get larger adult mice, small rats and cut those up for him.


once cut up throw some mealworms into the blood in a bowl with the rest of the guts.. it sounds gross but i guarentee you it will work.

also, cut up some larger rodents... and throw it in for your tegu, unfortunatly pinkies contain little to no nourishment at all, so you're gonna want something more nutritious........this is where the larger "chopped" up rodents come into play. Good luck
